Dr. Michael Z. Fein and Dr. Jamie A. Otfinoski of Bethel Foot and Ankle provide excellent foot and ankle care to patients of all ages in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We specialize in the gentle and comfortable correction of all foot problems. We treat each patient as an individual and, to diagnose each foot disorder, we spend quality time with our patients. At Bethel Foot and Ankle, we diagnose and treat a wide variety of foot and ankle problems including Achilles tendonitis, ankle instability, ankle sprains, arch pain, arthritic foot and ankle care, athlete’s foot, bunions, calluses, and corns, crush injuries, flat feet, fungal toenail, hammertoes, heel pain, and plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, neuromas, and warts. Our doctors are experts in diabetic foot treatment including assessing diabetic peripheral neuropathy, treating ulcers and wounds, and preventing amputations. We also specialize in sports medicine, whether caused by sudden trauma or an overuse injury, and work with our patients to heal their injuries and to prevent further damage. We use FDA-approved Extracorporeal Pulse Activation Treatment (EPAT®) as an effective, non-invasive alternative to surgery.     DPM

    Dr. Jamie A. Otfinoski was born and raised in Fairfield County. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport with a BA in Biology prior to earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a three-year surgical residency at Roger Williams Medical Center (Boston University Teaching Hospital) in Providence, Rhode Island where he gained extensive and meticulous training in limb salvage/wound care, forefoot/rearfoot elective procedures and sports medicine. Dr. Otfinoski is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. During residency, Dr. Otfinoski co-authored a textbook chapter on lower extremity nerve pathology as well as presented at multiple regional podiatric conferences. Dr. Otfinoski treats all types of problems in adults and children, with a special interest in sports medicine and biomechanics. An avid long-distance runner who has been actively involved in the local running community, Dr. Otfinoski is vastly experienced in running pathology and is looking forward to working with novice and experienced runners alike in achieving their personal goals.
